As of today, there are more than 9,500 cryptocurrencies in the entire crypto-verse. If you are surprised by this number, then you have another huge surprise coming your way. Just a week back, the total number of cryptocurrencies in the crypto-verse was around 8,500.

This means that 1,000 more cryptocurrencies have been added into the crypto-verse in a matter of seven days. The reason behind so many cryptocurrencies being launched is the surge in demand and rally.

Since the beginning of 2021, almost the entire industry is bullish and profitable for investors. The industry has been constantly gaining momentum and it is reaching new heights with every passing day.

Cryptocurrencies are the only industry that currently competes with the market capitalization of Apple, as it has also crossed the $2 trillion market.

While the entire cryptocurrency industry is gaining momentum and an all-time high, only a few cryptocurrencies are showing unusual growth. When it comes to cryptocurrencies demonstrating way more results than other cryptocurrencies, then Dogecoin and Ethereum Class are worth mentioning.

These two cryptocurrencies have gained a tremendous amount of support, rally, investments, and trading volume since the beginning of 2021. However, Dogecoin (DOGE) has gained much more growth than Ethereum Classic (ETC).

Although both assets may have significant price differences, yet their growth percentages are similar to each other.

If we look at the market capitalization and position of both cryptocurrencies, we would realize that both assets have great differences with respect to both factors.

However, the recent growth percentage has appeared to be somewhat similar for both assets in the past 7 days. Therefore, it would be wise to at look at both cryptocurrencies and see where they stand now.

At the time of writing, the market capitalization of Dogecoin (DOGE) is $70.42 billion and its price per unit is $0.54. On the other hand, the market capitalization of Ethereum Classic (ETC) is $7.7 billion and its price per unit is $66.72.

As for the position in the top 30 cryptocurrencies, Dogecoin (DOGE) ranks at number 5 while Ethereum Classic (ETC) ranks at number 21.

In the last 24 hours, Dogecoin’s (DOGE) price has experienced a 24.11% increase while Ethereum Classic (ETC) has experienced a 30.12% increase.

When it comes to a price change in the last 7-days, Dogecoin’s (DOGE) price has experienced a 96.10% increase while Ethereum Classic (ETC) has experienced a 93.78% increase.

When we look at the monthly analysis, we see that Dogecoin (DOGE) has experienced an 847% increase in its price in the last 30-days. On the other hand, Ethereum Classic (ETC) has experienced a 452% price surge in the last 30-days.

Based on the above stats, it is proven that DOGE is more profitable than Ethereum Class (ETC). However, ETC may show the same kind of result after a month.
